Mediation

Any conflict can be a stressful situation, be it a legal dispute or one within a family, but mediation can make resolving it and moving forward easier.  Mediation is a process in which people meet to work out a solution to their issue with the help of a neutral person.  It is private, confidential, and voluntary.  The mediator does not decide who is right or wrong.  A mediator helps guide the process, listening to the parties’ concerns, assisting in crafting solutions, and facilitating dialogue.  However, the parties involved make the decisions that they see best for themselves in resolving the dispute.

Mr. Windsor has assisted in resolving a broad spectrum of disputes, including corporate and business, insurance, construction, real estate, personal injury, and employment litigation.  He has mediated HOA and neighborhood association disputes, workplace disputes, and helped families resolve issues between siblings, parents, and elders as they have addressed some of society’s modern challenges.  Mr. Windsor has trained at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University’s School of Law, the University of California - Hastings College of the Law, and with the Superior Courts of California.

Mr. Windsor provides mediation and dispute resolution in all of the areas in which we represent clients in commercial and civil litigation, and in additional areas which include:lder Care Mediation/Facilitated Family Meetings
